The Union World Conference is the world’s largest gathering of researchers, global advocates, scientists, healthcare professionals, students and community members working to end the suffering caused by tuberculosis and lung disease, with a focus specifically on the challenges faced by low- and lower-middle income populations. Delegates may register for both the Union World Conference and TBScience 2020, or delegates may choose to register for TBScience 2020 only.
TBScience 2020 is an official pre-conference event that will focus on basic and translational TB science to bring together scientists from microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, epidemiology and mathematical modelling to present and discuss recent findings on TB transmission, infection and disease. Additional focus is also given to the development of better vaccines, new drugs and diagnostics for TB.
