Every year, over 100 volunteers donate their time to help make the Union World Conference a success. Volunteers assist on site in a number of areas depending on their interests, including the speakers’ centre, media centre, registration, in plenaries, poster sessions and symposia.
Their service enables the Union World Conference to offer more scholarships and assistance to conference participants and affected communities, as well as providing special registration rates to attendees from low and lower-middle income countries.
In return, volunteers have access to conference sessions and networking opportunities with public health experts from around the world.
The Union World Conference does not offer travel support or accommodation to volunteers.
