Submissions to the conference programme are open

We are hopeful that global circumstances will be more favourable by October, in time for the 51st Union World Conference on Lung Health, but we will continue to monitor the situation and the potential impact on the conference closely.

The Union remains committed to ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration throughout this difficult period, and to ensuring that services for those seeking care for tuberculosis (TB) and lung disease are maintained in this time of uncertainty. Read the full COVID-19 statement.

Abstracts, symposia, satellite sessions, post-graduate courses and workshops on lung health issues such as TB and TB co-infections, tobacco control, air pollution, COPD, pneumonia, civil society and community engagement, human rights and other topics are welcomed.

Please read the guidelines for abstracts and sessions submission carefully before you begin. Your session must be submitted under one of the official tracks for the conference, please note the list of tracks have been updated this year.

You are also able to read the review criteria for the programme selection set by the Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities (CCSA).

Once you have read all submission guidance: submit your session online.

The deadline for submissions of abstracts, symposia, post-graduate courses and workshops is 14 April. Satellite session submissions will be open until 6 July with a second round of submissions from 7 July – 7 September, upon availability.
